I just fell in love with this unique and intricate dress from Catherine Deane. This isn't my typical shape but it is so flattering and unique. I got this mid 2020 but shortly thereafter it became clear we needed to pair down the wedding to 20 people in a park, so i went with a much more casual dress to match the venue and size. I've been hanging on to it because we were hoping to do a reception in 2021, but honestly I'm loosing motivation now that so much time has passed, and if we do it, I'm hoping to be pregnant at that point... so yet another dress needs to be acquired. Honestly my only regret with the wedding is that i never wore this dress. Tags still on it, hasn't been altered, has been in the linen bag it came in safely stored away hanging in my folk's spare room - Their house has no pets, no fragrances, or perfumes used. It's pristine and nothing would make me happier for this beautiful dress to not go to waste. I hope it is perfect for you. I'm a very typical size 6, 5'7, 140 lbs, 32C bust, I think 36/27/40 ish and it fit perfectly, I don't think I would have needed any alterations except to take up the length a bit so that I wouldn't have to wear super tall heals, but it could pool a bit a look fabulous too. It really feels like an unfussy dress yet extremely detailed and well made.
